Warm and Fuzzy Sale

January 29th, 2010

It’s the dead of winter. People, it is 15 degrees outside. I’m not taking this lying down. I’m having a yarn sale!

Saturday-Monday (January 30-1) you’ll get big cozy discounts. Take 15%-40% off a bunch of yarns, including new stuff from the Fibre Co, Cascade, Aslan Trends, and Schaefer Yarns. All needles (including the new Hiya Hiyas!), notions, books, and patterns will be 20% off.

You’ll also feel warm and fuzzy when we get together to help with the relief effort in Haiti. We’ll be raffling off a WonderKnit tote bag stuffed with goodies (it’s a surprise, but I can promise local alpaca yarn!), and the proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders. Plus, everyone who donates will get a copy of my new Warm and Fuzzy Mittens pattern (a wonderful, easy one skein project). So no matter what, you win.

Don’t let January beat you. Get a discount, help out Haiti, make some mittens!

Luv,

Libby

Clintonville Sock Yarn!

Clintonville Sock Yarn!

Karida just finished dyeing up the new Clintonville sock yarn!  I tried to get the true color to show up, but it was elusive.   It’s a gorgeous, bright, jewel toned green.

Remember summer? Clintonville is so green.

Featured Yarn this month: Aurora 8

January 13th, 2010

This is a new thing!  We’ll have a featured yarn every month.  The yarn will be 15% off all month AND we’ll have a free pattern for it too.  Think of it as yarn and customer appreciation.  We want to promote good stuff AND make it easier for you guys to try it out!

And the Featured Yarn for January is……

The colors!

The colors!

Karabella Aurora 8!  This 100% superfine merino yarn is the softest wool you’ll find.  Not only is it beautiful, but I can tell you that it wears like a champion.  It’s great for hats, scarves, and mittens, but I personally love it as a sweater yarn.  You just spent months knitting gifts for others…how ’bout somethin’ nice for you?! You know…somethin’ like this?

Karen says this is the warmest ever.
